Data security, flexibility and scalability with the Hybrid Cloud from Smaser.

The hybrid cloud concept describes a combination of a private cloud hosted in a traditional on-site data center and a public cloud. For the components of a hybrid cloud to work together optimally, they must be coordinated, administered and operated.

The Smaser Private Shared Cloud (SPSC) offers our customers a hybrid cloud concept that consists of private cloud and public cloud components and thus combines the advantages of both worlds in a common, demand-oriented cloud concept that can be used universally. Above all, the specifications of data sensitive applications or legally regulated companies can be met and while profiting from the flexibility of publicly accessible cloud solutions.

The hybrid cloud, consisting of private and public cloud components, combines the advantages of both worlds in a joint, demand-oriented cloud concept that can be used universally.

The SPSC private component gives our customers access to our ISO27001-certified data center in Europe, located in Germany or the US. Via Cross Connect, the components and functions of the two public clouds AWS and Azure are integrated.

In addition to the classic virtualized models, we offer the option of using containers based on an enterprise container platform (OpenShift) on both the private and public components. Thus, with SPSC, the desired solution can be simply assembled from our building blocks.

All components of this hybrid cloud can be combined with each other in one application or platform.

  • Scenario 1: An instance is rolled out and operated on the private or one of the common public clouds (an instance running on either the public or the private cloud).
  • Scenario 2: One instance is rolled out and operated on the private cloud and on one of the common public clouds (two instances running separately on the public and on the private instance).
  • Scenario 3: One instance is rolled out and operated on the private cloud and one of the common public clouds (one instance distributed across the private and public clouds).Benefits of the SPSC
