SMASER AG relies on maincubes for its shared private cloud

SMASER AG, a young brand in the segment for the realization and operation of business-critical cloud and IoT services and part of the Digitalvision Group, has chosen the European data center operator maincubes as a colocation partner for its local infrastructure. maincubes currently operates two highly secure and highly available data centers in Europe – in the Frankfurt area (FRA01) and in the Amsterdam area (AMS01). maincubes expands its network with another data center FRA02 in the Rhine-Main area, which particularly focuses on customer requirements for maximum flexibility in IT infrastructure setup. The partnership with maincubes strengthens SMASER’s partner ecosystem and supports SMASER in optimally adapting its core competencies in the realization and operation of business-critical hybrid cloud and IoT services to the needs of its customers.

“SMASER provides optimal solutions for its customers and helps to get closer to their business vision. For the local infrastructure, we rely on our partnership with maincubes, which provides an ideal basis for SMASER products and services with its extremely modern and highly secure data center. At the same time, maincubes customers can directly request SMASER AG’s Cloud & IoT services via the marketplace,” says Steffen Zulauf, COO SMASER AG.

maincubes also benefits from the partnership

“The cooperation with SMASER is an optimal addition to our own service portfolio. SMASER’s customers gain access to a highly secure, available and scalable data center infrastructure. In turn, we can meet our customers’ increasing demand for multi-cloud solutions with the support of SMASER. Using the secureexchange® platform, this is possible without the time-consuming management of complex network structures,” said Patrick Schütz, SVP Global Sales at maincubes. “For example, in the increasing realization of IoT projects, especially in the smart mobility environment, we thus offer the best conditions for the requirements of the market.”

State-of-the-art data center in the heart of Germany

maincubes offers with the data center FRA01 as DE-CIX-enabled site a multiple awarded, certified and strictly audited data center infrastructure: among others certified according to ISO 27001:2013, ISAE 3402 and ISO 9001 (Q1-2020), audited according to TÜV-Level-3 and awarded with the German Data Center Award. In addition, the data center complies not only with data protection under German law but also with all the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Thanks to state-of-the-art colocation services based on an energy-efficient and scalable data center infrastructure ‘Made in Germany’ with 100% uptime guarantee, maincubes meets the highest requirements of cloud service providers, content providers and enterprises. In addition, as a pure colocation provider, maincubes can focus on particularly secure and energy-saving operation.
